Origin and ManifestationByson's existence is a direct consequence of a "loophole" in nature during Duce's birth, arising from their mother's use of an epidural during labor which tragically led to her developing cancer. As the spirit of Duce's deceased twin, Byson harbored immense "hatred and contempt," longing to experience the physical realm. He manifested as Duce's dissociative identity, taking control during periods of extreme stress or "blackouts."The "Sleeve" Transfer and New Life (April 2, 2018)Byson had grown tired of the "Other Side" and yearned for a loophole to physical existence. He found it through his "high friends in low places" and a brilliant, if ethically questionable, scientist. During Duce's blackouts, Byson formed a close acquaintance with Dr. Chakara Suwei, a bioengineering scientist originally from Trinidad, now based in Tokyo. Chakara revealed her breakthrough in transferring human consciousness, or "Digital Human Freight," onto a "Cortical Stack" which could then be inserted into an artificial body or "sleeve."On April 2, 2018, Byson volunteered as the test subject for this groundbreaking procedure. He meticulously designed his new "sleeve" to his specifications, incorporating features like "titanium steel arms" and enhanced combat skills. Despite the inherent risks, Byson felt he had "nothing to lose" as he was "technically... already dead." Lying on a stainless steel operating table, he urged Dr. Suwei to "PULL THE F***ING LEVER ALREADY!" as the process began. He awoke in his new, fully functional body, feeling "as if my lungs had just felt oxygen for the first time," and saw Duce also awakening from his own table, confirming the success of the transfer for both brothers. This successful transfer meant that Byson was no longer confined to Duce's mind; he now existed as a separate, autonomous physical being. The Underworld Reign and the Rescue MissionPrior to gaining his own body, Byson had "made quite the name for myself" during Duce's blackouts, accumulating vast wealth and a reputation that commanded fear within the Japanese underworld. He referred to his operations as "my fuckin' operation" and considered himself the true power in Japan, stating, "I run this shit!"This extensive influence became critical in the rescue of Duce's sisters and Yolanda. Byson orchestrated the kidnapping of Morito Oshima and Brad Young, revealing his true identity and control during the family's clandestine meeting in Japan. He coldly executed both Oshima and Young for threatening his family, overseeing the immediate and efficient clean-up of the crime scene by his loyal men. This brutal display solidified his ruthlessness and his unwavering commitment to his family, despite his violent methods. After the successful rescue, Byson ensured Sulu Suzuki's safe return to America and instructed Duce to enjoy the Hall of Fame, confirming their new, separate yet bonded relationship. The Post-Apocalyptic Future (April 2, 2318): The Coliseum and the Fight Til The DeathA shocking three hundred years after his "re-birth" on April 2, 2018, Byson Kaliban is revealed to still be alive, an immortal survivor in a desolate, post-apocalyptic world. He reflects on his "birthday," having not aged a day over twenty-two, and considers time "irrelevant" – a "fraud" that "kept humanity trapped within themselves."His current reality is a direct, tragic consequence of a "deal" that took place "on my land. In my house!" He blames the CWF for allowing this deal to occur, which led to the cataclysmic "BOOM!" that transformed Japan into a "bearing wasteland" and forced his people underground. While he initially "dabble[d] in a few business ventures within their inner workings" of the SSRI and Institute, it is now "personal."Byson survived the initial blast due to his foresight, having prepared with "quite a few sleeves, stashed away and constant back up fail safe stacks on stand by." His people survived underground for two hundred years until the arrival of the Amoralists, who murdered or captured many of his remaining citizens. Byson, along with a few others, managed to escape, spending another hundred years fighting for survival against both Amoralists and Traditionalists.Currently, Byson is a prisoner, identified as Prisoner BK-68310, confined to a cell within a grim, dungeon-like area of the Coliseum, a deathmatch arena characterized by the pervasive stench of dried blood, urine, feces, and death. He is under the control of the SSRI (presumably the Institute of his past, now a controlling authority). He is regularly monitored by armed SSRI guards, and despite his confinement, maintains a chilling sense of self-awareness and a dark, almost whimsical, outlook. His violent nature remains unchecked, having killed at least eight guards. On April 2, 2318, Byson was led to the ring, shackled by his feet and neck, to participate in a "Two Man Fight Til The Death" match alongside Frederick Styles. Byson displayed his defiance immediately upon his entrance, headbutting one of the guards as his shackles were removed, and then licking his own blood, which thrilled the "bloodthirsty, drug influenced fans." He was seen singing ritualistic songs and violently punching his concrete cell wall prior to the match, a "warm-up" that culminated in him attacking two guards, snapping one's neck, before being tasered and restrained. Frederick Styles, his unexpected partner, observed his brutality and deemed him "stable enough to fight."The match itself was a chaotic and brutal spectacle against The Lost Boys (Dean Coulter and Sam Braxton).

The Moves

Entrance Description

The overhead holoscreens in the Colosseum, which usually flash propaganda for the Redeemer, suddenly glitch and fracture. The sleek Amoralist architecture groans under a localized EMP pulse. The arena’s oppressive industrial hum is sliced open by the sharp, iconic opening synth of “Ain’t Nobody” by Chaka Khan. As the beat drops, the heavy blast doors at the top of the ramp hiss open, venting pressurized steam. Byson Kaliban doesn't walk out—he stumbles out with a manic, rhythmic twitch, his "sleeve" looking pristine and youthful despite the three centuries of madness behind his eyes. He is flanked by four SSRI "Peacekeepers" with electrified batons, but Byson ignores them entirely. He is lost in the music, snapping his fingers and swaying his hips in a way that feels deeply "wrong" given the blood-stained environment.

Byson moves with a loose-limbed, "dirty" grace. He occasionally stops to shout lyrics into the faces of the horrified front-row fans, his eyes wide and unblinking. Halfway down the ramp, one guard tries to nudge him forward. Without breaking his stride or his humming, Byson’s titanium-reinforced arm whips back, a blur of silver and flesh, nearly taking the guard's head off. He doesn't even look back; he just laughs, a high-pitched, rasping sound. Byson slides into the ring under the bottom rope, immediately popping up into a handstand before collapsing into a seated position in the center of the mat. He stares at the hard-light canopy of the Colosseum, licking his lips as if he can taste the desperation of the crowd.

As the music fades into the screams of the bloodthirsty fans, Byson slowly rises. He stretches his arms out wide, the metallic hum of his titanium skeletal structure audible over the house mic. He looks at his opponent, bites his own thumb until it bleeds, and smears a "K" across his chest.
