Jared Holmes
Physical Description/Attire:
The Peacock King appears to be a man in his late twenties or early thirties. He’s caucasian, tall and slender, and is in fantastic physical shape. This is clearly a vain man who has spent time perfecting and maintaining his physique. He has shaggy blonde hair that’s got a faint waviness to it — it’s medium-short and cut in the distinct “fuckboy” long on top, short on sides style.
Like any wouldbe esoteric cult leader, he wears robes, but as the King is quite a fashionista (and fitting with his haute couture/seapunk aesthetic), these robes are a hooded Versace bathrobe. He has matching swim trunks and sandals, and his clothing is entirely colored in yellow with blue accents. He wears a lot of jewelry on his neck: gold chains, amulets on leather straps, etc. His fingers are covered in jeweled rings, and the back of his hand bears a tattoo of the Eye of Providence (he’ll hold this up to his forehead to give a “third eye” appearance). Across his chest are a smattering of tattoos: occult and esoteric runes, Egyptian hieroglyphics, weird and seemingly alien pictographs.
When entering, he always wears a mask over his face: jeweled and stylized to conceal his features (though flattering to the contours of his face: this is a man who wants you to know how perfect his jaw is) and featuring a large emerald in the center of the forehead — this is stylized to resemble a peacock feather but gives a distinct “third eye” impression. He removes all his unnecessary accessories (robe, mask, rings, necklaces, etc.) in the ring and fights barefoot.
Jared is a naturally talented mystic. He’s no bookworm, he just seems to get it. Those familiar with magick may be startled by how seemingly natural his command of it appears to be for being somewhat of a lazy, immature punk. They’d note that the tattoos on his arms and chest seem to be some sort of deliberate ritual, perhaps a means of turning his body into a conduit or physical battery.
Something is off about Jared. You either love him or hate him to the most extreme degrees: either finding him cool, confident, and funny or thinking he’s a dead-eyed psycho who gives you the creeps any time you're within five feet of him. His energy is absolutely radioactive for anyone sensitive to such, to the point it begs deeper questions about just who or what he really is. Calling him a psychic vampire would not be unfair, it just neglects that there’s a whole cottage industry of sexy vampire fiction.
Perhaps the most noticeable oddness about Jared is his eyes: when he comes to the ring in his mask, they're a piercing emerald shade of green, but upon removing it, they're clearly a soft, calming blue. Probably a trick of the light, right?

| In Ring Personality | Smirking and sneering — cruel and cunning — arrogant and elitist — vain and vainglorious. Nonetheless, The King seems to have charisma and gravitas which has made him uncomfortably popular with the worst sort. He’s part influencer, part cult leader; an unholy amalgamation of Logan Paul and Jared Leto rolled into one. Detractors have called his “peacock” moniker a misnomer: he’s far more akin to a coral snake, a weaving spider, or a hungry shark. He’s a natural manipulator with a host of tricks up his sleeves. He’s also quite petulant and juvenile for someone who carries and presents himself so regally. Beneath the aura of mystique and esotericism, those who’ve met him have described him as “intelligent but emotionally crass”, “quick to go defcon 1 when a single thing doesn't go his way”, and “far more foul-mouthed than you’d expect”. Beneath his dark gospel may be little more than Red Pill-esque pablum … or beneath his Red Pill-esque pablum may just be a dark gospel. |
| In Ring Tactics | Just write him like Rollins: a well-rounded mixture of natural athleticism and high flying bravado who has never seen a cheap shot or dirty tactic he didn't revel in taking, especially when unnecessary and unwarranted. |
| Always Do | Always fights barefoot |
| Never Do | Never wears in ring gear into the ring for a wrestling match. |
| Writer Notes | Jared comes to the ring and is seen backstage in all of his lavish gear- but when he enters the ring for a match he takes off his mask and the rest of his gear/clothing and wrestles barefoot. |
