The future is hostile. The presentation is sharp. The violence is inevitable.

Jaiden Rishel

Leading the sheep to slaughter

Opening up, Jaiden Rishel is in the small corridors the Amoralists have set out for him, looking around the room. He sees the camera in the corner of the room, but knowing AnHellica and her minions, there are bound to be others hidden.

“An Iceberg Match!? How the hell am I going to prepare for that, when there’s never been an iceberg match to look back on!”

Jaiden asks himself as he looks down at his hands in his lap. He shakes his head, walking over to the shiny mirror and turns the sink on, splashing some water in his face.

“Whatever. If I’m going to make AnHellica believe me to be aligned with the Amoralist movement and that I am fit to be their new Moonchild, I have to do what I have to do.”

Wiping handfuls of water across his face, Jaiden finally relents and turns the sink off, feeling much more refreshed.

“Freddie Styles. The final Championship Wrestling Federation World Champion of a long begotten era. You and I haven’t seen eye to eye for most of the time that I’ve ran CWF, but I would’ve liked to have thought that there was a small amount of unspoken respect between us. I would’ve liked to thought after all the years working under my father and/or myself that when the time called for it more than ever; when the world is literally burning down at our feet…that you would have my fucking back.”

Jaiden takes a deep breath.

“But like I’ve been with many things in life, I was wrong. I don’t know your true intentions Freddie; but what I do know is this. Come April 3rd, you and I will put each other through such hell that the God damn thing will have Frozen Over. If it is blood that your Lord wants? I’m going to give her blood. If AnHellica wants brutality? It is going to be me standing over your lifeless body leaving her no other choice but to name me the Moonchild.”

Jaiden thinks back on his conversations with Lilliana Primrose, a look of intense focus coming across him as he looks right at the droid camera in the corner of his room, staring a hole right through it knowing that AnHellica, Freddie, and the rest of the Amoralists are watching.

“So bring old man Cain, even older man Lionheart, hell even Valentine and Murray with you. It’s not going to make a difference when you and I get in the ring, Freddie. You see you may have your little Vampire alliance, but I've found a few friends of my own along the way."

A picture of Lilliana sits on Jaiden's bed, and he looks back at it momentarily smiling before turning back cold.

"Your vision is blurry, covered with the lies that AnHellica had embedded into you. You know not what you’re doing, but that is no fault of your own. You’ve always fought the good fight. You’ve always been a sheep gladly led into battle. But Freddie? In this war the sheep are led to the slaughter, and come Frozen Over?”

Jaiden stares dead eyed at Freddie through the lens.

“I’ll be your Shepherd.”

Cut.
