~Back inside the magical locker - Previously seen picking Mia up and dumping her in the Colosseum for her promo against Lexy Too Sexay~

MiAtlantis, for those uninitiated, was a place unlike any other. It was Mia’s “Sanctum Santorum,” her, “Fortress of Solitude,” her sanctuary from a completely sane world. A place that gave her absolute control over her wild and crazy imagination, provided a place for Mia to rest and recuperate her energies, and a place her Menagerie, Amelia, Loki Synn, and Cheshire all called home.

So as one could imagine, as the door of the locker creaked open, Mia closed her eyes and breathed a sigh of relief. She collapses into the nothingness of MiAtlantis, allowing the comforts of her own imagination to wash over her and restore her energy after a hellacious battle with Silas. Or Lex? Wait… Something was wrong with the timeline… Mia opens her eyes and feels the ground on which she’s laying… Grass. She squints into a blue, cloudless sky, and takes note of the annoying ball of fire in the sky, known as “the sun.” She tries to wave her hand, and again, the barbed wire around her neck twitches to life. Slowly, without the sense of urgency Mia is typically used to when in her own domain. She grunts, but takes solace in the fact that the barbed wire finally untangles itself from her neck, twists itself around her eyes, and finally turns into a pair of sunglasses. Her wounds around her neck start to heal, but at the pace of the famous turtle who raced a hare. Sure the turtle won, but not because of speed, but because of the arrogance of the hare. There was a lesson in there somewhere, Mia was sure, but the itch of the healing skin around her neck was currently taking up most if not all of Mia’s attention.

After several minutes, that felt like years, Mia’s wounds have healed themselves, and Mia lies back on the grass panting. The sun almost felt nice against her skin and she sighs, trying to enjoy the moment of relaxation her brain was trying to give her… That is until the sun’s rays are suddenly blocked by a figure standing in just the right position to prevent the rays from reaching Mia. The Forsaken Psychotic lets out an annoyed grunt and sits up to see who was bothering her.

Cheshire

The opalescent persona stood in front of Mia, arms crossed in front of her at chest level, but that wasn’t what Mia was staring at.

“Your face…”

Instead of the traditional semi colon and right parenthesis that was one of the building blocks of the Mia Rayne that is universally loved and adored, the semi colon is now just a colon, turned ninety degrees with the right parenthesis to form a traditional smiley face. The figure doesn’t say anything to Mia, but it uncrosses its arms and points behind Mia. She turns, and her jaw drops.

A sterile looking, rectangular building stands before her, at least the length of a football field away. Mia didn’t need to be up close to recognize any details of the building, because as opposed to the bright color palette of the day around it, the building had no distinctive details to it, aside from the stairs leading up to a standard double door, and the sign above it.

“That’s… None of this is right.”

Mia stands and dusts herself off, ready to snap her fingers. As she brings her digits together, she hears the spark of magic, and with a loud BANG Mia is transported to the front door of Sanity’s Void. She shakes her head, a look of displeasure crossing her face. The building was supposed to go away, not get transported to her. The hair on the back of her neck stands, and she turns… Cheshire hasn’t moved from her previous position, and has instead raised an arm above her head, waving at Mia. With another bang, Cheshire disappears from where she was and reappears, beside Mia, holding the door open for her and gesturing for her to enter. Mia squinted inside and took the glasses off her face, the shades turning into a length of barbed wire from before, ready in Mia’s hand.

As Mia takes a step into the building, she is immediately greeted with the stale gust from an air conditioner that tries so hard, but its glory days are long gone. Ahead of her is a desk, occupied by a familiar face. For her part, Amelia is hard at work coloring on the desk with sharpies, humming to herself as she sits cross legged on top of the counter as she works. Before Mia can step forward though, she notices a giant, ornate, grandfather clock. It isn’t a normal clock though as Mia takes a second, much closer look at the face. There was no hand to count minutes, instead, two short zig zags end in arrow points, one pointing at the nine, the other at the five.

With every step, Mia felt what little energy she had regained from her short time lying under the sun. As she reaches the countertop, she collapses, catching herself and using the suddenly soft looking glossy oak countertop to brace herself. She takes a gulp of air and looks over at Amelia, who continues to scribble with her markers. Mia goes to speak, but before she can more than a squeak out, Amelia slams her marker down, the noise echoing throughout the giant building.

“Shhhhhh… Save that energy, you’re going to need it, sweet, sweet, mommy Mia…”

Amelia’s voice carries with it a sweetness akin to the amount needed to kill a large group of diabetics. She looks up and cocks her head to the side as she looks at Mia with her soulless, black eyes.

“Oooooo Mia! Just… Just look at you! If the roles were reversed, I’m sure you’d be having the laugh of a lifetime! Look… Mia, you need to LOOK AT ME WHEN I’M TALKING TO YOU!”

Amelia bellows the last words and Mia jumps as much as she can, her feet feel like cement blocks. She groans as Amelia reaches forward and jabs a finger right under Mia’s jaw, digging into the soft flesh there. The crazed persona laughs slowly, and pulls Mia’s head so she’s forced to look into the black pits that Amelia calls eyes. For her part, Amelia jabs her finger into Mia’s jaw again before taking it away and sitting on her heels.

“That’s better. Look at you, sitting and taking in all of this silence, this chaos turned into order. I’m sure you’re quivering with antici…”

Amelia leans forward and sniffs at Mia, taking in Mia’s scent through her nose in several deep breaths. Amelia closes her eyes as Mia slumps to her knees, unable to do anything about it. With yet another loud bang, Loki Synn appears, not the one that was kept on a short leash by Mia, but the original one that used MJ Flair as a lawn dart, helping to take a few months off the young woman’s career.

You’re welcome by the way MJF.

Loki bends down, and with a snarl picks Mia up by her throat, laughing darkly at Mia’s feeble attempts to fight back. Amelia watches, wide eyed, shrugging her shoulders, and turns back to her markers. Her voice is quiet, but pierces through the silence of Sanity’s Void.

“Pation.”

Loki snarls as she lifts Mia even higher, her boots no longer touching the ground and Mia grabbing onto Loki’s arm with every fiber of her being, trying hard to just be able to keep breathing.

“Not that you’re owed anything here, but since it’s more fun to watch as the realization of the sins against yourself dawn upon you, let me fill in the gaps for you Mia. You aren’t the boss anymore. We aren’t your puppets, your weapons to be called upon whenever you need, and then put back on the shelf, wondering if it will be another decade before you even THINK about bringing us out again. You burned up all of your energy, calling upon the three of us to vanquish your demon Aristocrat, and now? Now you’ve done fucked up, kid! You don’t get to decide when we show up anymore, that’s for, US to decide!”

Mia’s face starts to turn purple and she can start to feel the sides of her head pulse as she becomes desperate for oxygen. She claws against Loki’s arm, and the jester only snickers.

“Look at you. To think that any of us should have ever been scared of you, to show you any respect and to be at your beck and call. You’re pathetic Mia.”

Loki drops Mia, and she collapses into a heap, coughing and gasping for air. Loki squats down and forces Mia to look up at her by grabbing her chin and pulling her roughly.

“Things have changed Mia. Of course you’re welcome back here at any point in time, hell, I ENCOURAGE you to show up. It is after all, YOUR imagination, but held to a much higher standard than ever before.”

Cheshire and Amelia join Loki, standing by her side and looking down at Mia. Loki pushes Mia away, almost in disgust as she stands back up.

“Ours. You don’t get to make changes, unless WE want those changes to happen. Sure, in order for us to exist, you need to survive, but now we’re going to see how you like being put on the shelf until it’s decided that you’re needed. Until next time Mia…”

Loki blows a kiss, and in a cartoonish way, a pair of indigo lips appear and float toward Mia, planting her right on her cheek, and pushing her into unconsciousness.

Darkness. Nothingness. Blank.

“There’s so many words to describe it, and yet, no one really wants to feel it.”

Mia Rayne appears amidst the inky blackness. She looks like she hasn’t slept for days, her hair looks as if a combination of a rat and a bird made several different nests within her hair, and the usual sparkle in her eye is replaced by a dull, matte, diminished hue. She smirks and soldiers on, not that anyone would be able to pick up on her feeling like absolute death, right?

“Kevin Hunter. Your name is generic sounding and for the life of me, I can’t remember it. Just now, in order to get this thing written, I had to look at the card to figure out who I was facing at Infernalia because you’re just another generic name, that thinks that because he has a big bank account, the world owes him all the things, including a bag of chips.”

Mia shakes her head slowly, partially as if she had a headache and she was trying to get rid of it. Mostly to show her complete and utter disgust for Kevin.

“What were you expecting when you saw you were up against me Kevin? Glitz and glamor? Do you even know who I am, or do I have to take another useless trip down memory road, just so some generic richboi learns some manners, and who the fuck he’s up against. I get it man, you’re big! You’re strong! You are man, and the CWF is going to hear you roar, right?!”

Mia puffs out her chest and sticks her arms out to mimic a generic muscle builder. She struts around, pretending to knock people out of the way, swatting at imaginary bugs and people who dare to fly within her vicinity. Looking directly at the person reading this, she lets out her breath and shakes her head again.

“You came in for the last Infernalia, had a prime position to win a gauntlet match, and what did you do Kevbot? You froze. You stood there so a guy could fly at you, left, right, and center, only to be taken down by your sheer size. The only offense you got in, was you standing in one place, and hoping to whatever deity you believe in, that Paul Freedom would just keep running into you, and with any luck, he’d knock himself out. So what happened then Kevin, hmmm? Oh yeah, that’s right.

You lose your spot to one of the most basic moves in a wrestler’s arsenal. Your debut match was a dud, and now look. You get paired to go up against your’s truly, a legend in the CWF, who keeps getting booked against the likes of you. Are you going to cry about it, like Lex did? Compare what I say to some real life story to try and make me look bad? Or…”

Mia smirks as she takes out her pen, and takes a deep breath. As she holds it, she maintains her eye contact. After what feels like ages, the smoke comes out her nose. She coughs slightly and smirks again.

“Are you just going to ignore this opportunity, much like you did your last one? I warn you Kevin, you need to come prepared, ready for war. Ha…Hahhaa…”

Mia’s eyes widen as she doubles over, almost as if in pain, but her laugh picks up, shrill, uneven, and even more unnerving than ever before.

“I can’t control it anymore Kevin… This is your warning, everyone’s warning… Hehehehehe…”

Mia coughs, and stands up straight as the sound of a single, solitary, jingle bell pierces the echoing silence left by Mia’s laugh. A jester’s mask appears beside Mia and her face goes pale. She fades into darkness as the floating jester mask continues to stare straight ahead.

“I’m baaaaaacccccckkkkkk BITCHES!”
